NOTICE OF A JOINT REGULAR MEETING OF THE TYE ECONOMIC AND INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATIONS TYE, TEXAS

7/8/2026

Notice is hereby given of a Joint Regular Meeting of the Tye Economic TEDCO and Industrial Development TIDCO Corporations, to be held on Monday, June 8^th, 2026, at 649 Scott Street Tye, Texas 79563, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items are subject to action. The Board reserves the right to meet in a closed session for consultation with an attorney on any agenda item should the need arise, and if applicable, pursuant to authorization by Title 5, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.

 

Agenda Items:

 

1. Call to Order:

 

 

2. Invocation:

 

 

3. Visitor /Citizen Comments: At this time, any person with business before the Board not scheduled on the agenda may speak to the Board for a maximum of 3 No formal action can be taken regarding these items at this meeting. Discussion by the Board of any item not on the agenda shall be limited to statements of specific factual information, a statement of existing policy, and/or a proposal to place the item on a future agenda.

 

4. Discuss and Consider: Report/Proposal from Landon Pann regarding an application for possible grant for business expansion.
5. Executive Session: The Board reserves the right to adjourn into Executive Session at any time during the meeting to discuss any of the matters listed as authorized by Texas Government Code Section 551. 087 (Economic Development) Economic Development, Project Manufacturing.

 

6. Discuss and Consider: The Board may take action regarding matters discussed in the Executive Session.
7. Discuss and Consider: Commercial Relationships regarding the lawn maintenance of TEDCO/TIDCO properties and City Hall.

 

8. Executive Session: The Board reserves the right to adjourn into Executive Session at any time during the meeting to discuss any of the matters listed as authorized by Texas Government Code Section 551.072 (Real Property) Facilities Care and Maintenance.

 

9. Discuss and Consider: The Board may take action regarding matters discussed in the Executive Session.

 

10. Discuss and Consider: The Acceptance of a bid and transfer documentation regarding the properties known as Gardens of Tye, as negotiated between McDowell Construction and TEDCO/TIDCO.
11. Discuss and Consider: Personnel Matters of TEDCO/TIDCO

 

12. Executive Session: The Board reserves the right to adjourn into Executive Session at any time during the meeting to discuss any of the matters listed as authorized by Texas Government Code Section 551.074 (Personnel Matters) Executive Director.

 

13. Discuss and Consider: The Board may take action regarding matters discussed in the Executive Session.
14. Discuss and Consider: Approval of the financials for both TEDCO and TIDCO for May 2026.

 

15. Discuss and Consider: Approve the minutes of the regular Joint Meeting of TECDO and TIDCO from May 11^th, 2026.

 

16. Adjournment:

 

 The Boards reserve the right to adjourn into executive session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed above, as authorized by Texas Government Code Section 551.071 (consultation with attorney), 551.072 (deliberations about real property), 551.073 (deliberation about gifts and donations), 551.074 (personnel matters) and 551.087 (economic development).
